Each piece in this series is the original master matrix, executed purely freehand with India ink on high-density Canson paper. This is the exact moment where the geometry of exponential functions and untamable curves come to life for the very first time, allowing no room for errors or preliminary sketches.
Rodrigo Barcena Mendes’s artisanal process bridges the heritage of classical drawing with milimetric precision. Upon physical completion, each ink drawing is scanned in ultra-high resolution (1200 DPI) and meticulously refined digitally, preserving the structural purity of the black lines. It is from this primordial line that the artist envisions the digital coloration and volumetry that give rise to the renowned Fine Art variations: the Studio, Mineral, and Cyber Editions. This exclusive exhibition space serves to share with collectors and art enthusiasts the raw, untouched cellular origin from which the artist's entire visual universe expands.
